Christmas Outreach registration will take place Nov. 17-21 & Nov. 24-26.
To register your family for Christmas Outreach this year, you must
call 773-4204 OR come to Immanuel Lutheran, 320 S. Bradley, Mt. Pleasant between 8:30am-4:30pm on one of these days.

The following items must be new or gently used and clean and can be dropped off at Finch Fieldhouse on the campus of CMU (corner of Preston St. and Franklin St.) between the hours of 2:00pm-7:00pm on December 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 & 10:
Infants’ & Children’s Winter Clothing
Bed Linens & Towels
Adult Winter Coats, Sweatshirts & Fleece
Books (for all ages)
Boots (especially adult sizes)
Toys (new & used)
Mittens, gloves & hats (all sizes)
Jeans (all sizes)
Volunteers are Needed:
When? December 3-5 & December 8-10 between 2:00pm-7:00pm
December 15 & 16 between 8:00am-6:00pm
Where? Finch Fieldhouse on the campus of CMU

Christmas Outreach of Isabella County
Christmas Outreach is a diverse mixture of individuals and groups (service clubs, churches, student groups, businesses) who join together each fall/winter to help the needy in our county have a better Christmas.
Around 1980 Christmas Outreach came into being as a formally organized entity (ie- with meetings, minutes, officers, etc…). The group started after several individuals saw duplication of efforts in the community and decided to pool resources to better serve those in need. With monthly meetings September to January, the department leaders plan for the coming December event.
Departments include – coats, hats/mittens, books, boots, clothing, bedding/linens, new toys, Christmas items, bikes, used toys, food, Christmas trees, and Christmas stockings; other committee members include: registration, office clerical help, officers.
An annual budget is proposed each year. Departments are then able to shop for their needs. Some purchases are made after Christmas to take advantage of sales for the next year. Many departments are supplied by year-round buying at thrift shops and yard sales.
In the past, Christmas Outreach used several small churches on CMU’s campus, but in recent years CMU’s Finch Fieldhouse has been available for distribution which usually takes play over 2-3 days in mid-December. Accumulation and sorting of donated items takes place after Thanksgiving through distribution.
Anyone who says they are in need of eligible to receive help. All that is needed is for the individual/family to register during the mid to late November sign-up period.
